The opening says, " Nagmumula sa pambansang sentro ng balitaan ng National Broadcasting Network at NBN World, narito ang Teledyaryo." The newscast became popular when it aired live footages of the September 11 attacks. It was originally aired from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm (with Philippine Lotto Draw at 9:00-9:15 pm), it was a counter-programming to the usual primetime fare. It was a two-hour primetime-nightly news program, which will give emphasis to the network's major thrust - news. In line with the network's relaunch as the National Broadcasting Network (NBN), Teledyaryo was started airing on Jand anchored by Gani Oro and Chino Trinidad. All of its editions are aired overseas via PTV World (formerly known as NBN World). Shown every weeknight at 6:00 pm Philippine Standard Time, it was anchored by Angelique Lazo (weekdays), Rocky Ignacio on Saturdays and Joseph Parafina on Sundays. Teledyaryo (a portmanteau of telebisyon and dyaryo, Filipino words meaning television and newspaper, respectively hence, "Newspaper Television") was the flagship newscast of People's Television Network.
